Refund policy

The Wax Station is happy to inspect a product for return or refund within 7 days from the date of purchase if the product is faulty or not fit for its purpose. Consumers are responsible for returning the product and must provide proof of purchase. The product must also be largely unused. Once we receive the product, we will respond within 30 days to advise of the outcome. We respect consumers' right to a refund, replacement on faulty products, and may offer store credits.

However, consumers are not entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if:

- They changed their mind, found the product cheaper somewhere else, or decided they didn't like the purchase or had no use for it.
- The problem with the product was caused by the consumer misusing it.
- They knew of or were made aware of the problem with the product before they bought it (but they may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for a different problem with the product that wasn't made clear to them before they bought it).
- They asked for a service to be done in a certain way against the advice of the business.
- The problem with a product or service was caused by the actions of someone other than the business.

All refund requests must comply with Australian Consumer Law. Although every care is taken to ensure that your product is received in good condition, insurance is recommended as lost or damaged parcels are not refundable. Please ensure you read labels and are aware of all ingredients in products for side effects or any possible allergy concerns.

The Wax Station selects professional skin care products and solutions with your well-being in mind. However, it does not accept liability or responsibility for undesirable reactions or effects. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have health concerns, always consult your physician before using products.

Patch testing can be conducted by applying a small amount of product on the inner fold of your elbow and waiting 5 minutes, checking for any redness or irritation before use on the face or body. Individual tolerance varies from person to person, and skin reactions and allergies, although unlikely, are unpredictable. Therefore, no guarantee is expressed regarding allergies or skin reactions. If you experience any skin reactions, please discontinue use and inform us by email to Michelle@thewaxstation.net. Kindly provide a photo of the skin reaction and a description.

From time to time, we will check in to see if you are on any skin medications or have any new or existing allergies. Please assist us by keeping us informed and notifying us of any changes in your circumstances.
